Smart Aviation ATO is the only training center in Poznań that offers candidates with no prior aviation experience a comprehensive training program from Zero to ATPL frozen. The training is divided into 7 stages.

Modular training stages from zero to ATPL
Prerequisites
- Minimum age at the start of training is 16 years.
- Minimum age when applying for a PPL(A) license is 17 years.
- Minimum age when applying for a CPL(A) license is 18 years.
- Proficiency in the English language at a communicative level.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and physics.
- Part-MED class 2 medical certificate before commencing PPL(A) training.
- Part-MED class 1 medical certificate before commencing ME+IR+CPL training.
- Minimum of 200 hours of general flight time when applying for a CPL(A) license.
Training Overview
- Theoretical training for PPL(A) (100 hours), VFR night (5 hours), MEP(L) (7 hours), ATPL(A) (650 hours).
- Minimum of 45 hours of practical training for the PPL(A) license.
- 105 hours as part of flight time building, including at least 20 hours of “cross country” flights with a minimum of one flight route of 300 NM (540 km) with landings at two different airports.
- 76 hours as part of modular ME+IR+CPL training.
Modular training stages from zero to ATPL
- Stage 1 – 100 hours of theoretical training and 45 hours of flight training for the PPL(A) license.
- Stage 2 – 650 hours of theoretical training for the ATPL(A) license.
- Stage 3 – 105 hours of flight time building.
- Stage 4 – 5 hours of theoretical training and 5 hours of flight training in night conditions.
- Stage 5 – 7 hours of theoretical training and 6 hours of flight training on a multi-engine aircraft.
- Stage 6 – 55 hours of instrument training, including a minimum of 15 hours on a multi-engine aircraft.
- Stage 7 – 15 hours of visibility training, including 5 hours on a complex-type aircraft and 10 hours on a single-engine aircraft.
Note: Before commencing IR/ME and CPL(A) training, candidates must hold a certificate confirming the successful completion of the ATPL(A) theoretical exam.
