APS MCC
The Enhanced-MCC (E-MCC) training is an advanced variant of MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) training.
The objective of Enhanced-MCC training is to provide comprehensive training in multi-crew cooperation, defining roles and responsibilities in the cockpit for the pilot flying (PF) and the pilot monitoring (PM) in the operations of an airline. Special attention is given to decision-making skills, especially in emergency situations. The program also includes elements commonly found in commercial aviation operations, such as handling FMS/FMC, performance calculations for takeoff and landing, wind shear phenomena, and a discussion of standard airline operations using advanced high-performance aircraft with swept wings. Effective multi-crew cooperation must have a synergistic effect, where the PM and PF support each other throughout all phases of the flight.
The program includes a minimum of 40 hours of theoretical training in multi-crew cooperation.
It consists of a set of 10 sessions with a total duration of 40 hours on an FNTP II certified training device for MCC training.
